Lafene Health Center, located adjacent to the west side of campus at 1105 Sunset Avenue, offers K-State students comprehensive, high quality, easily accessible, affordable outpatient health care. The Center also serves as a resource and an advocate for health education, promotion and wellness.

In order to save your time for more important things than waiting:

  • Call ahead for an appointment to decrease wait time
  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to complete the check-in process
  • ALWAYS visit the check-in area first
  • Allow 24-48 hours for prescription refills
  • Late for appointment? It may have to be rescheduled. 
  • Missed appointment? You may be charged a failed appointment fee.

Current Campus Health Issues & Events

  • Meningitis vaccinations will be available during new student orientation at the Student Union (except June 12th) or at Lafene Health Center.
  • Think you've been exposed to pertussis? Check whether you had the Tdap vaccination or call 785.532.6544 to schedule an appointment or get more info.
  • New campus shuttle route and schedule--dropoff available at Kramer Dining Center--across the street from Lafene
